1974 Alfa Romeo Spider

Alfa Romeo Spider

FOR SALE in our classifieds

m reluctantly selling my Alfa Spider 2000, 1974 model. Ive had the pleasure of driving it for the past 3 years, but now Im leaving for a job overseas.

It is hard to find a Spider in the Cape in similarly pristine condition. Absolutely no mechanical problems, shock absorbers, brakes, clutch, engine top. No oil leaks, no overheating even on the hottest Cape Town days. Drives and sounds beautifully.

All dials (temp., oil pressure, petrol gauge, speedometer, rep meter) and switches are working, no electrical problems.

I put on a new soft top when I bought it about 3 years ago. The top and the plastic back window are still in excellent condition.

Wooden steering wheel and wooden gear selector knob, both with Alfa emblem. Leather seats and leather finish.

Rare original mags with Alfa emblem, Pirelli tires.

Even the rare plastic covers for the front lights are complete.

The only fault it has is a little rust spot on the drivers side door sill near the rear wheel (see picture, hardly noticeable), otherwise free of rust.

It has been serviced regularly by an Alfa expert (slips and invoices available), all papers in order and new license inclusive. I will do the roadworthy before the car is sold.

It is a dream car in top condition. Please arrange an appointment with me for viewing and test driving.
